Jesse Candela is a coach, scout and video analyst who created Candela Hockey Development to provide players and coaches with practical, personalized support that can sometimes be difficult to find in minor hockey.

His coaching background includes eight years in U Sports football and multiple seasons in rep and AAA hockey. His hockey coaching experience has included player development, positional teaching, practice planning, video analysis and supporting team systems and development throughout the season.

His hockey background also includes junior hockey scouting and international video analysis, giving him experience in player evaluation, team structure, game habits and identifying the details that separate good decisions from poor ones.

Jesse has also contributed coaching content to The Coaches Site, with a focus on video, development, practice design and making hockey concepts easier for players and coaches to understand.

Professionally, his background includes sales, project management, operations leadership and team management. That experience shapes how CHD operates: listen first, understand the problem, communicate clearly and provide something practical that can actually be used.
